Friends Holding Hands (FHH) is back in Hanoi with “Caring for the barefoot” in supporting disadvantaged children in Vietnam who can only dream of having a pair of shoes that would hardly lessen the winter’s coldness.

"Caring for the barefoot" night took place just when the new cold wind came from the north, yet was warmed up by friends holding hands together. We have raised pre and post event a total amount of 36,715,000 VND (USD 1800 equivalent). This is really a happy news for 700 children will have rubber shoes and socks from such donation. Thank you all for your contribution and support!!!

Friends Holding Hands partnered with Room to Read to host a Networking Night at Conrad Tokyo sponsored by Share with Fiat, Conrad Tokyo, Montblanc and many other luxurious companies. The whole event was honoured by the presence of Room to Read's founder and CEO, John Wood and the Coundty Director of Cambodia, Kall Kann.

We were able to welcome about 150 and raised an incredible amount of JPY 3,600,000 for Room to Read Japan. One stand-alone library, 4 in-school reading rooms and 20 years of girls' education have been created.

FHH joined the force with Beyond Exposure group to organise the Tohoku - Rock x Rebuild. The event hosted approximately 450 guests. We featured 3 fantastic live bands and 3 DJs and gave away raffle prizes sponsored by Hilton Group, ANA InterContinental and other generous donors.

A total of JPY 950,000 was raised for Architecture for Humanity to build a public bath house as part of their community centre building program.

This project wonderfully combines reconstruction, education and job creation: the building was designed by architecture students of Keio University and is being built by locals in Minami-Sanriku using spare plywood.
